Installation Makes the Difference

Install compressed air system

Would you buy a new air-conditioning system without proper installation? Well, the same applies when you purchase a new air compressor. Both systems you want to last 10 years or more. Here are some reasons why professional installation by Air Compressor Works (ACW) is critical.

Over the past 40 years, ACW has developed an installation team that is the largest in South Florida. Here are the key points that the ACW installation team considers for your new compressed air system:

  • Location – is there enough room to service the equipment properly
  • Ventilation – will the unit run properly where it’s located and not overheat
  • Compressor Room Piping – be sure the piping is correctly designed and sized to ensure no issues with pressure or flow and can be easily serviced
  • Distribution Piping – it is critical to have the distribution piping properly designed and installed using black iron/copper or preferred aluminum
  • Permits – very important to have the correct permits on a timely basis
  • Electrical – need to work directly with a certified electrician to ensure that all components are wired properly
  • Condensate Removal – make sure that the oily water from the compressor is properly piped and disposed of
  • Start-Up – key to have the unit properly started up to maintain warranty and ensure everyone is trained on how to maintain on a daily/weekly basis

Unfortunately, most compressor companies in South Florida do not offer their own complete installation package as they do not have personnel trained in the proper installation techniques or have right installation equipment. The team at ACW has been doing installations for over 20 years and can do a simple 5 hp compressor or a complete 50,000 square-foot facility.

Make sure you have any compressor or accessory properly installed to ensure that it meets the performance requirements and lasts as long as you need. Please give our inside sales team a call at (561) 332-4923 and speak with our knowledgeable service personnel.
